On Wednesday, August 12, the annual Taste of Castro Valley returns for an evening filled with delicious food, live entertainment, local businesses, and community connection.

This year, Honey Brown’s and Emerald Gate Studios are teaming up to create one of the tasting stops along the route.

Honey Brown’s will serve a special tasting inside Emerald Gate Studios, located at 20409 Santa Maria Avenue in downtown Castro Valley.

Come hungry, stop by the studio, meet the people behind both businesses, and enjoy a taste of what Honey Brown’s has to offer.

What Is Taste of Castro Valley?

Taste of Castro Valley is an annual community event hosted by the Rotary Club of Castro Valley.

During the event, neighbors, families, friends, and food lovers stroll through downtown Castro Valley and visit participating restaurants, shops, and businesses.

Each guest receives a tasting lanyard. The lanyard is punched at participating stops as guests enjoy food and beverage samples from more than 25 local businesses.

It is a fun and relaxed way to experience the Castro Valley food scene, discover businesses you may not have visited before, and support the people who help make our community special.

Honey Brown’s Is Coming to Emerald Gate Studios

Emerald Gate Studios is proud to host Honey Brown’s during this year’s event.

Honey Brown’s is a Castro Valley catering and event-planning business known for preparing memorable food with care and creativity.

During Taste of Castro Valley, guests can visit Emerald Gate Studios to receive a tasting from Honey Brown’s while also getting a look inside our local content creation studio.

This collaboration brings together two Castro Valley businesses that care deeply about creativity, hospitality, and community.

Taste of Castro Valley is more than a food event. It is an opportunity to explore the downtown area while connecting with local business owners and neighbors.

Participants will be invited to complete activities around downtown Castro Valley, including visiting locations, scanning QR codes, and exploring participating businesses.

Guests can earn points and compete for prizes while enjoying the evening’s tastings and entertainment.
